The Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI) has again named Bentonne Snay as a Grant Professional Certified (GPC). The Grant Professional Certification is nationally recognized as attesting to qualification and experience in grant writing, similar to the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential for fundraisers. Bentonne first became certified in 2011 after passing a challenging written and multiple choice examination that tests the profession’s core competencies – ethics, proposal planning, prospect research, grant construction, professional development and grant management, among other skills required of a grant writer. Bentonne has continued to meet the required standards and has received her third recertification, which is good through 2020.
Clients who work with The Snay Group know they are working with an ethical grant professional with mastery of the fundamentals of grantsmanship and a broad interest in building social capital. For more than 25 years, Bentonne’s commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her nonprofit clients has been unwavering. Her attention to detail, experience and love of the work is evidenced by the almost $36 million she has raised for numerous nonprofit organizations.
Congratulations to Bentonne! Her passion and dedication is reflected in her GPC recertification and highlights the quality work for which The Snay Group is known.
